GUEST SPEAKER
PHYLLIS ROBERTSON THOMAS
Phyllis Robertson Thomas is a missionary at heart, having spent more than 30 years involved in missions, including five years living and serving in Nicaragua. She discovered a love for duck hunting after going out with her father, Phil Robertson, in 2020—an experience that has become a meaningful part of carrying on his legacy.
Phyllis has participated in three Hunters With Mission waterfowl derbies to help support the Metropolitan Mission orphanage in India and is passionate about using her life and story to impact others for the gospel. A registered nurse and trauma-focused counselor, she is currently writing a book that shares her testimony, set to be released in 2026.
She’s honored to support Hunters With Mission and the life-changing work they do.
About Us
Hunters with Mission was founded by Dustin Bayless. In the late eighties his Grandmother, Civilla Ball was on a mission trip in SE India where she was introduced to Metropolitan Mission and its founder Ebenezer Bandaru. Give and Make a Difference
You don’t have to attend a banquet to make a difference; every donation received by Hunters with Mission no matter how big or small goes directly to helping Metropolitan Mission provide shelter, food, services, and ministry to orphans and those in need.
Past Banquets
Leaderboards, dollars raised, and our photo gallery of past events give you a glimpse of just how much our event has grown and how every year we grow not only in the number of participants but in how many lives we are able to help change.
Phyllis Robertson Thomas was a guest at our 2022 derby. We were so honored to have her and thrilled to hear what she had to say about her experience with us in the “Unashamed” podcast.
